Fuji - Fujifilm Holdings Corporation, or Fujifilm (Japanese: Fujifuirumu Kabushiki Gaisha) is a Japanese company best known as a manufacturer of cameras, photographic film, motion picture film, and photo minilabs. The company was founded in 1934. In the mid-1950s, it entered the magnetic media market. To this end, in 1954, Fuji established a magnetic research laboratory and in 1960 began production of magnetic tapes, ceasing production in 2009.
