Saehan - It was a specialized corporate group operating in the media, chemical, and materials industries, operating from 1973 to 2000 and part of the Samsung Corporation. Magnetic Media Korea was founded in 1973 as a joint venture with American Magnetic Media. In 1975, it was renamed "Media," and in 1977, it changed its name to "Saehan Electronics" and began using the spelling "Saehan." In 1979, it acquired the American stake and transformed into a local company focused on recording media.
